Controlling Human Physiology via Drugs and Devices

As our understanding of human physiology has improved, the use of devices and intervention strategies including control systems has also increased. This chapter discusses aspects that are unique to physiological control systems, presents key control methodologies commonly used in human physiological control, and also several case studies from research as well as clinical practice.
